Inking and printing from the floor of Edward Albee's "barn"2010Ink on mulberry paper
The print is 38 x 87"This shot shows me inking and printing off the cracked linoleum and exposed cement on the floor. I later drew into the print to emphasize the cracking surface. The print is shown in the next image.
Floor Print2010ink on mulberry paper
37" x 88"This print was made by inking the floor of Edward Albee's barn. I then drew into the print adding very small circular shapes to accentuate the crack in the floor.
Working on the Floor Installation2010ink, pencil, paint, paper, linoleum, cement, and interchangeable sections with hand-printed elements
variableAfter inking one section of the floor, I decided to make small moveable prints to lay on sections of the broken linoleum. I then decided to paint directly on the floor isolating sections with white enamel. A second inked section was added last.
